Another older movie I had not seen. I watched it and really enjoyed it... Yeah, Billy Baldwin can't act worth a nickel, but the film moved along and there were enough GOOD performances to keep it working for me... I enjoyed it... best movie about firefighters I've seen... much better than ladder 49.

Totally disagree with that. I thought he did a commendable job in Backdraft. Unfortunately, he has been saddled with shite roles and the shadow of the great Alec ..
But did you see The Squid and the Whale ? He was great in that !
Flatliners ? Internal Affairs ? He did good !

Honestly John, this is the ONLY movie I've ever seen him in... maybe it's just that I don't like his character, I don't know, he didn't do it for me... but I won't pass an overall judgement on the guy, I'll simply say, I did not like his performance in this film. :)

I can't tell the difference between the 5 or 6 bladwin's. but Alec Baldwin is pretty good.
Must mention that, all the baldwins look exactly the same. It's quite strange.

Alec = Best baldwin, the dad of the baldwins
Billy = Fake and outta shape Alec
Daniel = B movie Baldwin
Stephen = Surfer baldwin, young and good lookin
i think theres one more who doesnt act.
