I was wondering if there was a way to Get that spatter/splatter effect that they use on some tv stations ( like FX) If anyone knows a way to do thats, or has a tutorial, thanks in advance.

I found some neat Photoshop brushes for splatter, but i cant figure out how to get them to work in AE7, anyone know?

thanks, that tutorial.. kinda worked for what i wanted it to do, And i actually did all of it except that code .. Lol

you could just make your own splatter in about 5 minutes by filming some black liquid like ink or something being splatted onto a clean bright white sheet of material ..like bright white printer paper. tweak the contrast and grayscale it if you like, and then you can use it as a track matte for real life splatters, or as a footage element in your comp.

I would end up Spilling white out everywhere. All Digital For the win.

throw a little blur in post and u got splatter..dont get lazy. lol. Filmmaking is all about getting the shot no matter how simple or hard it is.

A little more work, but probably the best result. Without being an animation whiz, this is one of the best ways.
