I have a Canon Rebel XT. I took this great shot of the Empire State from the top of the rockefeller building in NYC. I want to go somewhere and have them print it to about a 20X16 image. How large do you think I can go without the image looking bad and distored? I wanna frame it and hang it in my living room.

Using my D50 I easily print 11x17 images, and my D50 is only 6.1MP. You should have no problem going a little larger with the XT.
If you process your image correctly in Photoshop you should have no problem getting your levels ready for printing along with color process (RGB or whatever).
Kinkos is a good place to get things done because they are fast and cheap... Lately when I have been doing prints I'm doing them in at least quantities of 50 so I go to a pro printer... a one off isn't cost effective that way though... 50 is barely cost effective.
