File Size

I need to film a series of video clips to be downloaded from a website. They need to be full screen and will last three minutes each.
Could anyone tell me what is the best codec to use and how big the file sizes would be?

Are they gonna be viewed on the web or downloaded to a PC and then viewed? I would use quicktime pro in either situation. It's got great compression and it maintains the quality pretty well. This is just from my experience. I'm sure there's a lot more out there but quicktime pro is quick and affordable! Try posting in the Cafe, you might get your best answer there.
