Hey, I've got a handheld shot that I'm looking to add something to. I can stabalize the motion in it just fine all the way through, but does anyone have a guess about how I could start the shot stabalized, then slowed fade the effects out.

The only thing I've thought of is going frame by frame slowly reducing the amoung of position ajustement it makes, but that seems like it may be a few years in the making.

Any ideas? Thanks.

Could this be applied in a reverse ramp with key frames? If not, is there a place in the sequence where it could be abruptly changed that would make sense?

You can do it with an expression easily.

Multiply the correction track with a curve that has a value of 1 at the head and zero at your effect 'out' point. Then apply the resulting curve as a 2D move to your image.

You get full ease in/out and spline controls to how you adjust the value of the
stab effect.

...if you understand expressions which is hell!
