Stayed in New Orleans this year back in July with a friend and made a film. I can't really tell what it's about since it has a twist to it. But please view and give me feedback on it.

pacing. was. way. too. slow. Especially for the lackluster "payoff."

Speed it up! This seemed like a 1 - 1.5 minute short stretched to 5 minutes for no good reason. Use some lights next time, too. This seemed like a very simple, straightforward concept. Use that to your advantage - make a short, simple, taut piece with minimal "noirish" lighting (not NO lighting beside practicals).

yeah i know my friend had never done film making so its really more of a fun random thing that we/I made. And yeah it does need lighting but its not something big anyways.
