Nope, it's not. Haha, I don't mean to contradict you but it really isn't as hard as people may think. And no, don't use those stupid "pay $25 and we'll send you a key!" scams. What you have to do is get yourself a USB cable for it (PSP cables and some camera cables match it...I think its a 5 pin cable) and you're almost ready to go.

Next go to www.motomodders.net and start reading. They'll tell you what programs you need, how to flash it with a flex and flash pack and then they will show you what program and steps you have to follow. It's all in the forums and a guide someone there wrote. Lord something or other..

Good luck and remember, there's always the chance you may BRICK your phone so be careful. If you don't think you can do it, then take it to someone and they'll unlock it for you.

My phone takes a small chip-card that you slide into the back of it... I dont know about the razr, though. Your not allowed to have a razr when you only pay 15$ a month.
