Camera Down

My camera just shut down on me for the 2nd time. It will not play tapes it just shows up as the regular screen before you hit play or anything. Sending it in to CA to get fixed tomorrow. Will take about 2-3 weeks to come back to me. But i'm saving up for a new camera anyways and sorry its not a DVX or a HVX its a Canon XL1

Sure you dont want to get an XL2 at the very least? Shot with one yesterday and I was actually impressed with it's low light sensetivity. We were in a basement with one light and it looked pretty good.

Well I was looking at the XL2 and its just the money because its more than the XL1 but I have thought about it and if I get to that point then i'll get the XL2 or if I get the money for an XL2 I might just get an XL1 and then just get extra accesories for film stuff like lights and stuff.
