I've enjoyed a few of his films ... 400 Blows, Jules et Jim, and Shoot the Piano Player. I was less enthralled with Fahrenheit 451. I think those are the only of his that I've seen.

I have yet to see Shoot the Piano Player, though I have seen most of La Nuit Americaine, and I loved it.

I recommend the Adventures of Antoine Doinel. Criterion Collection has the DVD set and its spectacular.
Also who doesn't love Truffaut's turn in Close Encounters of the Third Kind?
