If anyone is in Chicagoland around the 6th of Sept., please stop by the Music Box theater and check out out latest feature, SPACED OUT.
A few of the actors from the film will be on hand. It should be a very cool night. The film was shot on DVX 100s and Canon XL2s and looks great.

Nice cast John! Good luck with your film. How did you manage to get those guys?

Wow, congrats, what a cool cast. I wish I could be there. I miss the Music Box, it's such a great venue (the animation fest was always my favorite). I used to be a projectionist at Facets, and we'd let each other's employees in for free. It's been too long since I've been up there. I really miss the indie community you guys have up there. Good luck!

Hey John
congrats, looks like a fun flick. I have a meeting that night at 7pm. If I can somehow re-schedule it I will as I'd love to support Chicago film and a fellow dvxuser.
Are you going to be showing it any other times in the chicago area?

Hey! Some posts! I was beginning to think I was doing somthing wrong!
Thanks for the kind words everyone. We were indeed lucky to work with the cast we got, although with the budget we were working with, we could have most of them for one day only, but we made it work. The film is actualy a sequel to another film that I wrote and directed called SPACE DAZE, which was released by Troma Entertainment last year. It's is not nessesary to see the first film to watch this one. This one is so much better, in fact, that I wish you wouldn't see the first one which wasn't much more than a student film. (albeit with a cameo by Cory Feldman)
I didn't direct this one, just co-wrote and co-produced, because I'm fininshing up a different film, a riff on Michael Moore docs called, MICHAEL MORLOCK IN THE SUPERNATURAL WORLD. That one should be finished very soon as well.
Anyway, the Music Box is a very cool place and we're all looking forward to it.
Come on down if you can and have Larry yell "No soup for you!" at you. Very cool.

Hey John,
How'd it go? As I mentioned above, I had a meeting with a client so couldn't make it, but I hope it went well.
Give us some details...

It went very well, thanks for asking. A great time was had by all. Fred Williamson was a trip.
Our next film will premiere in 2 months or so. I'll post more info when it gets closer.
