I simply can't figure this out. It seems to only happen when I'm previewing on a secondary computer monitor. I edit, do stuff and preview stuff, until I have to do something "outside" Vegas. I minimize it, and it won't open again, it's completely crashed.

What's wrong? This is really frustrating, and I need to get started on my Horrorfest film!:badputer:

Hmm, never heard of anything like that before. What version of vegas are you running? Have you tried reinstalling it?

6.0D, I've tried to reinstall, with no luck. This really pisses me off :(

Are you previewing full screen on the second monitor?

Yes indeed. It used to work without problems before.

edit: it actually doesn't seem to crash if I just drag the preview window over to the other monitor, and not choose the "preview on secondary monitor" ting.

I've never seen that problem before but I've always just dragged the preview window onto my second monitor, never used the "preview on secondary monitor" ting. Sounds like that's the answer to your issue. In reality it may be a driver issue with your vid card?

what is the mhz on your secondary monitor set at? I may need more like 60mhz. Also is your video caching enabled? If not you might do so in bios.

The Mhz is 75 at 800x600, old crappy monitor. But anyways, it works fine when I don't use the "Preview on external monitor" button, but just drag the window over. :)

Thanks guys. :)
