Don'y doubt it and get it, I think the easiest app to make virtual landscape. And if you want to update to ver 6, it comes soon, you need at least this version to reduce the full price.

there were a few reviews on Download.com saying the Mac version was corrupted, i downloaded it and sure enough it gave me an error. so I upgraded stuffit to 10.2 the latest free version, and tried expanding it again and it works fine...

Awesome. I already own version 5, but am going to let some of my friends know about this. Also on Daz3d.com (http://www.daz3d.com) you can get some free Bryce content in the freebies section (have to be a member, but is free to signup). They also have a bunch of free Poser content and you can get the free Daz Studio. Not as good as Poser but is free and I can even use Poser 6 content in it. Anyways great find.

(now if I could only learn Terragon)

Is there an manual online? I downloaded the online tutorial earlier but haven't had a chance to look at it. Maybe that's all I need...hmmmm...

Has anyone tried to use the Free version of Bryce 5? It doesn't match the Bryce 5 manual, and I'm wondering what I'm missing. I see no file menu, no help menu like it shows in the manual. (It's the 5 manual, not 5.5).

Added later: Nevermind, you have to run the mouse up against the upper edge of the screen and wait a fraction of a second for the toolbar to pop down into view. I'd flicked the mouse up there before, but didn't leave it long enough to get the bar.

Like I said, it isn't the most intuitive program. It seems to be the norm these days.
