sorry vegas question, but no responce in vegas for

Im hopeing someone can help me out here, and im sure they can with the wealth of knowledge.

I have filmed a time lapse of a flower dieing over the past 3 days, and now i have it in vegas, and need to spped it up ready for rendering. So my question is, how do I speed up the footage quite conciderably so that it will still be sped up for when i render it.

Im v pleased with how the footage has comout and would like to post it on here once complete.

dunno if this helps, but in vegas try holding down the control key when your cursor is over the clip, then drag it so that its smaller. the icon should change to a left and right arrow with a little squiggly line under it. I think you can speed it up 4x this way.
