Its out on DVD today. Can anyone point out the shots that the HVX was used for? I remember reading about the HVX being used for some stuff in this movie, please correct me if im wrong.

BTW I love this movie, and am even more in love with the game. An original silent hill fan right here. Owner of every single peice of silent hill paraphanalia imaginable!

My roommate (at least until she moves in a week) works at Blockbuster so we watched the advance release last week. I thought it was a massive crap film. The story just kept on going and going, nothing really happened, and I thought it was just garbage. Now, I hate when indie filmmakers complain about lighting in a $10 million film because, well, I don't know why, but it just bothers me, but the whole lighter lighting really didn't work for me (yes, I'm a hypocrite). Plus she just happens to carry a zippo even though we never see her smoke? This movie... it just pissed me off, bored me, and didn't impress me in the least.

I think that there were some cool special features, but I wasn't interested enough to go looking for them.

Then again, I never played the game, maybe that was a pre-req in order to enjoy the film.

Well personally i think the movie sucked. I think the games are great though. Anyway, some shots done with the HVX are when she is running around the fenced area and the "ash babies" attack her. Also the Bathroom scene where she has to get the note out of the mangled mans mouth is HVX.
