remote zoom issue

I use the remote zoom about 90% of the time for my shoots. Sometimes when I zoom out and then stop the zoom, the zoom keeps going automatically. At first I thought that the remote input was somehow tied into the top handle zoom, in that it zomms at a set speed. My top zoom is set at position 2 (off) so that can't be it....any one have a similar problem?

The zoom switch on the remote isn't going back to the "neutral" position when you let it go, it's still advancing the zoom in or out. You'll just need to make sure to stop the zoom manually.
