ok so I'm goin gto buy vegas. I need it today. My situation consists of this:

I got a new computer yesterday which I will do video editing on. I have a macbook for internet use. The apartment I live in somehow makes it so that you can only use one computer per internet connection. And since my macbook was the first computer to be connected, its the only computer that is able to get a connection. Gay? yes. But I need vegas today, so I was wondering if its possible to buy it and d/l it on my roommates computer who has a pc and then burn the install or whatever and transfer it to my new computer.

I jsut wanted to ask before I dropped money and it didn't work. I would be mad

A note on the internet connection; get yourself a cheap router (basic one or wireless, most can be had <$50) for the internet connection. Read up on the feature called "MAC address cloning" which will make it look to the system as if it were your macbook.

Then once it's on the internet, It will let you use both computers (or more) at the same time to surf/browse/download by plugging into the router.
