I have a CompuTrekker AW:

which I like but have some issues with. It's holds the DVX, accessories, and a laptop.
But, it's rather large because of the space needed for the laptop. The tripod holder is only good for smaller ones. The pack needs to be a little bit deeper (between backside and frontside. Also, more padding on the top panel.
Other than those issues I have liked it.
Oh, but I do find myself using a smaller messenger style bag for carrying the DVX when I don't need all the accessories (filters, lenses, etc.).

will the DVX fit into this packpack with a 4x4 mattebox and rod support installed?

I use the Lowepro photo trekker AwII, Itīs perfect. It doesnīt hold a large tripod well but we get by. I have everything including my sunguns various chargers, monitor tons of batts, everything well packed and organised in this bag I highly suggest it. O also suggest you get from Carmens photo source off of ebay, but donīt do the rebate thing. That name might not be right but if you do a search youīll figure it out. Kellam

I don't have a mattebox. But, I don't think it would fit or it would be rather tight.
