I'm doing a multi-camera shoot next week with the 3 900's.
Questions:
1. Has anyone out there used this camera. If not, have you come across a 'DVX.user' style website for the 900.
2. If you answered yes to question 1., what stock have you used/recommend). It's just DVCPro stock, that you record DVCPro50 on, there is no DVCPro50 stock, right (as in DVCam vs. MiniDV).
3. We are shooting green screen w/ seated talent. Suggestions for settings. I have an engineer for getting the cameras to look alike--but have you come across anything that worked/didn't work aesthetically (can we get spell check in here?).

Much Thanks, mp

Any DVCPRO labelled tape will do exactly the same job (tape inside the box is the same regardless of case labeling). Cameras are incredibly easy to match - just save the settings from the first one you set up to a SD card which you use to load up the other two. All cameras will look the SAME. For the other questions, the COW forums are very good.

The 900 takes a medium size DVCPro tape. There is a large style Pro format tape that will not work with the 900. Personal experience: a producer I was was working for order a bunch of Pro tapes from tape house and got the large (he claims it was their fault). Day one of 25 day shoot, camera shows up...tapes don't fit. LOTS of money lost to this simple mistake.

Good luck.
