Checking out some new trailers at apple.com/trailers.
This film feels familiar for some reason...

I'm thinking the people that would watch this film may have dished out their coin
on it already.
______
WWE Films has they're newest blockbuster ready to make a quick exit from theatres:

I love Jon Cena, but I don't know. Sure it'll probably make a few bucks, but shouldn't there some sort of grading curve that keeps stuff like this and Uwe Boll movies out of theatres?

The first one looks pretty good, but I don't know if I can stomach that dude acting like a bitch for 112 Minutes.
The second looks like typical Action Movie Faire.
Both are looking better than anything anyone here is doing.

Hahaha ROFL...
The last Capote movie bored the hell out of me. His book, In Cold Blood, was much more interesting the he is...
But then that's just my opinion. :)

John, did you happen to catch Phillip Seymour Hoffman's Oscar winning performance a little while ago?

Yes, that movie looks very well made, and it boasts an impressive cast, it's just that it's the exact same freakin movie that came out last year.

I predict a wave of Ong-Bak style action ripoffs coming soon. Speaking of the previously mentioned Marine-esqe movie and others.

Why on earth would any of them sign on for something like that?

You're right. Infamous is the EXACT same movie as Capote. I can't believe none of the cast or crew took a minute to ask, "Should we be doing this?"
If Capote hadn't of been made then that trailer would have looked pretty good.

I kept hoping the trailer would show that it was a parody.

Well, I didn't really read into any bio on this pic so for all I know they started making this movie ages ago, about the time CAPOTE was being made. But the similarities...I mean, its just the same movie....so, its almost surreal that a movie, that does not seem to be lacking in budget is released so close to the original when it is the exact same story. Its as if all of the filmmakers were on some sort of Close Encounters of the 3rd Kind ship and just got back and knew nothing of the first flick. And whats strikingly odd is that it looks like its going to be really good.
I can't even image why else they would have moved forward with that flick....

Looks better than the other one, IMO.
