just trying to get a feel of people in the Santa Cruz area who use a DVX.
So who here lives in the Santa Cruz, California area?
Maybe we all meet up and geek around with our cameras.

I'm in South San Jose but get down to S.C. and Capitola a lot.
I used to live in Santa Clara, I've got some friends that go to UCSC.
That doesn't answer your question at all- oh well.

santa cruz...hmm let me tell ya about the time......west field house playing soccer... running around in the co-ed dorm naked tripping like crazy and howling at the moon, and the girls throwing water baloons at us, uppercrust pizzaria many a nites closing the place with my big bro and owner joey corona and the rest of the crew blitzed out of our minds. natural bridges sitting on the edge of the cliffs watching the spray of the waves and seeing all the beautiful colors(enhanced of course) shi t, it was a Hunter Thompson playbook. Aptos best field of dreams i've seen, everybody had a garden.

kimko - I use to fence (foil) at the West Field House. I think I know the gyms
at UCSC better than most students.
I live in Santa Cruz, we can meet here at the hotel I run w/hubby. Park,
go eat at the wharf, play some beach volleyball, we could even have a bbq.
Has to be either on a Sunday or on a day I can fit everyone's car.
I'm game.

OMG! If i had known!!!! We stayed at the usual place while we were there a few weeks ago, but were not too happy with it this time. We'll have to check your place out next time!! I was wondering where the office is for this hotel. i was gonna yell up at somebody on a balcony and ask. :)

cara - you go up the steep driveway and the offices are up top. Anytime you
are in the area, drop by, check to see if I'm around. This hotel is the cleanest
and best priced by the beach. We have a stellar staff.

CharliCharli, kool you fence huh, man i got to tell you the women in santa cruz play all kinds of sports and are really good. there were a few soccer players who practiced with my brothers team that could keep up with the semi-pros which they were. well i would love to see you and your hubby if i get up that way, haven't been there since early 80s. is the uppercrust still there in town next to the...... damn i forgot where they played concerts CATALIST? and north of town

Cataylist is the dive that holds concerts, I've never been there, smells like (gah).
I eat at Pizza My Heart of Khanti's (about a yearl old). If you ever come up,
just shoot me an email, we'll go hit lunch at the wharf. Where are you now?

They filmed part of, "Dangerous Minds" out here. Actually, the Boardwalk has
a hall of movie posters, forgot all the movies filmed out there, one just
recently.
