What's the best way to do this? When i shot 16x9 footage on the DVX100, I'd usually shoot letterbox or crop in post, export that as a 720x480 uncompressed quicktime (or quicktime reference), and then take that into the DVD program to be transcoded to MPEG2 and burned to a DVD. With the HVX200, I'm not sure what I need to do. I'm shooting stuff in 720p24pN and editing on a 23.976 timeline. What resolution do I output to (854x480?) Am I going to have to add pulldown somehow since these are pure 24fps rather than those encoded to a 60 field signal as with the DVX stuff? Will programes like Encore DVD accept this 16x9 stuff and add black bars for non-widescreen TVs or will I have to shrink the image to 720x480 and add my own black bars? Help.

I'm using Avid Xpress Pro HD 5.23.
