View Full Version : Compaq Laptop
I put in a P2 card in the pc slot of my laptop. A message was shown on the screen telling me new item detected. But it didnt allow me to unload the clips onto my compaq laptop computer. Do i have to install something special to my laptop to read the p2 cards? to allow me to unload them onto my laptop. and after doing so how do i get them into my mac g5 computer?
thanks

There is a driver on the cd that came with the camera that you need to install on the laptop. After you see your card as a drive in the laptop, copy the entire contents of the card including the lastclip.txt file to a fat32 formatted drive. Your G5 will read the fat32 drive with no problems. You will then import your footage from this drive to a HFS formatted media drive on the G5.
Hope that helps.
