I have these programs:
-Premiere Pro 2.0
-Photoshop CS2
-Illustrator CS2
-Audition
-Encore DVD
-After Effects 7 Pro
-Macromedia Flash 8
-Dreamweaver MX
I was hoping for Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash 8, and Dreamweaver MX. Most items came in the Production Studio from Adobe.

My understanding is that you use Bootcamp to run a copy of Windows that you'll have to purchase and you can run Windows software.

I've used Photoshop and Illustrator on a Mac before -- is it a different software version?
Can I dual boot with the Mac OS and Windows XP?

Not sure which version of Windows. The versions written for Mac ARE different software. Generally speaking, their files are transferable between platforms, though. Just checked, yes it is Windows XP. Go to this website. It'll be able to answer your questions much better than I can.:

Audition, Encore, and Premiere are the only programs on that list that have no Mac versions, even if you don't end up dual-booting.

And the guy I edited our movie with had recently switched from Premiere to FCP and he said he'd NEVER GO BACK. Personally, I have no familiarity with Premiere so I can't say.

Oh, absolutely. Premiere has come a long way, but FCP runs circles around it.
