I want 1080i pal to image sequence...?

I have a 1080i pal video, and I need to convert it to a sequence image to make some frame by frame operation in Photoshop.

Anybody knows the best method to do it : 1080i --> image sequence

and whe I will make the operations i PS, : image sequence--> 1080i, this second point is less important.

I have PS ver 5.

you'de need to export it using quicktime, AE, shake, or something like that into an image sequence.

Sorry to dig up an old thread.

What export settings should I use in Avid or FCP to get the whole video timeline or parts of the timeline as single frames so that I could work it in photoshop? Video is PAL 720x576.

Would the exported frames retain the quality of the video footage?
