When shooting 29.97 NTSC, drop frame timecode follows a very specific set of rules of what frames get dropped. (1st minute no drops, second thru 9th minute, drop 2 frames (:00 and :01) off the first second of the minute. Repeat every 10 minutes.)
When shooting 23.976 fps, is there a standard for drop frame timecode? If so, what are the rules followed?
