Can you disable the focus and zoom rings on the front of the camera? I'd like to somehow be able to lock them so i don't change the focus or zoom accidently.

I need that for a 35mm adapter. The zoom doesn't seem to be a problem unless I press a zoom button. For the focus, I put it on manual and then use a pieces of gaffer's tape to anchor the ring so it won't move. I know that's not like some menu item to lockout the ring function. But it works. And its pretty quick when an adjustment is needed.
