Help!!! Can't figure out timelapse...

Hi, I have a HVX200 and I can't figure out what I am doing wrong. I know that to shoot timelapes, you need to be in a native format, but it seems that I can only record timelapse in 720 60p and I have to switch it to scene file 1 first in order to change normal recording to timelapse. Any other scene files or P2 format will "Blue out" the recording option, preventing me from changing it.

Can someone please breakdown what recording modes you can shoot timelapse and how to get there.

Switch to 1080 30p - video mode. No reason to shoot 720 60p.
Then you can select interval recording to the P2 card.
