Hello All,
Was thinking of trying a simple short film to get my feet wet before all "heck" breaks loose in the coming year and a half as I try to get a pet project off the ground. I use to play this silly online game named Asheron's Call and you "buffed" up before you went to fight creatures. I tried to find a photo but google didn't help. Anyways, stuck with wordage explaination: The effect is one of a main color for each buff which it starts below the body like a dark thin plane of color and expands upward and outward about a foot outside the persons body. The "armor" protection spell was black, the "frost" protect spell was blue-ish, the "fire" protect spell was red, acid green, so on and so forth.
I want to stress it did not look "cloudish" but rather more like several panes of glass of a particular color expanding outward from the person, with those panes being a main color and being see-through. Starting from the ground, it would come upward at the same time going outward and envelope the person in the color (still see person however). Once it reach it's "fullest" point it would then vanish all at once. Gosh that description just doesn't do the actual event justice but it is the best I can do I guess. Main thing is NOT to think "cloud-like" and to think more plane/glass look I guess, ugh.
Anyways, anyone think of a way to get a similiar look in a "real life" knock off that is exceptionally easy to pull of?
Thanks in advance of course.
