Why can't the HVX200 shoot higher progressive frame rates like like 48P or 60P in 1080?

Also, why can't the HVX200 shoot higher frame rates than 60P.....like the Red camera 120P?

First of all bandwith.

the dvcprohd is 100 mbit/s

1080 30P is 100mbit.

Sure if the camera internal writing system etc could handle higher speed, they could have theoreticaly build in 60P placed on the 30P timeline with no audio. Because the internal camera processing do it in 60P.

The Red can shoot hicher frame rates by read every odd pixel to doubble the framerate. But if they would do that with the HVX you would seriosly lower the res.

Thanks for the response, I would shoot 120P everyday in my line of work if I had the option...
