Jack thanks for keeping me on my toes, I'm just in the middle of production for a music video next week, also lots of editing. I gave the storyboards to the school who are working up an article for their newsletter (should be ready soon) Also I have been working up some CC for our Werewolf POV want to post thease but not sure if I'm allowed too, (seem to remember John saying no moving footage). I have two tests ready but have been holding them back...Damm I let it loose about the Werewolf!!!

tests are cool ... if they aren't of the actual footage from the movie ... like having someone stand on set so you can test lighting and dolly work and CC is cool you can show a clip of that.

but if its a CC test for footage from the film then you can't show a clip fom that ... you can show GRABS of that though ... so if its CC test of actual footage the you can lay grabs on us all day.

glad to hear you are entering your own:thumbsup:

Sorry guys, Ive been shooting another music video (your all gonna like it I promise!!! sexy babe), had to leave editing Cursed for the moment also I'm shooting my own entry 4th-5th Sep and its a mother to workout - Still no location (I'm starting to panic) will posts some grabs/tests this weekend. Its good to be busy...or is it?
Kholi-First time working with this group-they were all full of beans, so it was a pleasure...Nailing the story was the hard part. We had an art teacher doing the make-up and she pulled off some great torn out throats. I think it will be a tasty little film.

Lol how long have you been editing tonight?. I can barely decipher your post ... but I think ... think mind you ... that you are talking smack. :Drogar-Love(DBG):

... Yeah I had to clean up that blood tonight, it was like a 10' square area of syrup that had been there since Tuesday before last -- ech.

Uhm so where are the grabs again?

I'm also just now editing, but I don't feel like I can put up any more grabs without giving anything away. I guess my marketing hole is constipated.

...

I can't do the dozens all English style like you but I will try:

Bet your film is jolly well flat with a flat in it and whatnot despite your best efforts to bang on there good man and that and all!

... that's all I got.

Oh! ... except that I am a year and 1 month younger than you, so easy on the age jokes gramps

GHHEESHH, A year and 1 month younger? That filmmaking is really taking it out of you buddy. You've won too many comps, time to pass the crown to Brandon.

Cursed - Is shot outside, so bhhaaannn.
Broken Circle - Is set in a Victorian house in Liverpool, so no flat, so bhhhaaann.

Welding Helmets...Sheeesshh :) What's next an old diving suit??

Whoa - no fair shooting in the birth place of Clive Barker (yeah yeah and that John Lennon character - and they went to the same highschool BTW) ... but shooting in Clive's stomping grounds has to be unfair horror charma - I'm a big Barker fan (the short stories mostly, then the 1st 2 Hellraisers, then the plays, and then the novels in that order)

Same here even though Barker's first film was a little pants. I love 'Weaveworld'-'Secret Show'

To be honest in the Victorian house we had overt paranormal activity. The makeup artist got trapped in her car with the automatic locking going on-off. Plus other weird stuff, I should'nt have messed with the occult, same thing happened when I did 'Unlucky' art does indeed reflect life.

I think that 'Broken Circle' will be something totally different in the whole comp. I'm keeping it really understated to create a better impact. The concept took me months to figure out.

Are you talking about Underworld or Rawhead Rex ? because he didn't direct those ... it was his dissatisfaction with those that led him to get together funding for Hellraiser

or are you talking about his amateur shorts "Salome" and "The forbidden"

in either case he doesn't really consider himself that great a director, he's said there are people put on this Earth to direct and he's just not one of them, so its not likely he'll be directing again. He went on to say that Bill Condon was (who directed Candyman and Co-Wrote and directed Gods and Monsters which Barker produced). So I think he has a good sense of himself as a very creative and visual person, but just not "put on the Earth" to direct.

'The forbidden' even though Bradley was in it, too arty.

I know he does'nt think of himself as a Director but 'Hellraiser' for me was a monster of a movie. If he would have directed the other two, it would have been a different ballgame. I've always admired him, to shoot 'Hellraiser' as well as he did for a first feature, phew! If only.

The film was uploaded but got lost in the mix. I've uploaded it to my server last night. Didn't want to post it because I feel it's unfair on the students to be added in so late into the competition with no-views/ reviews. I will post this up once voting has finished. Sorry guys. It's a great little film made by 11 year olds, and I'm sure they want some feedback, so keep watching.
