Does anyone have any tricks for getting rid of strobing while in 24p? Other than panning slowly, giving 7 seconds for an object to cross the screen, following an object in the foreground so you don't notice the background strobing. Does anyone have any other tricks or methods?

Maybe use a slightly slower shutter speed. Other than that, I don't know. Remember that film strobes just as much. :)

Think about the shot you want. Maybe you can change the angle so you don't have to pan as much. I tend to rethink particular shots that have a harsh strobe effect.

Following a subject in the pan will take the attention away from the strobing.

Make sure you have OIS turned off.

As markm said, rethink the shoot. Maybe a different angle or just reframing. Reangleing will change the amount of movement needed to cover the zone of action. Reframing will give the subject more screen dominance, thus less will be noticed. Jeffery Tahl
