Hello

Does the lens that comes with the 100B have macro and if so, how close of a distance can you focus on?

This might help - I plan on shooting action figures with heads about 1cm big. Will I be able to have nice full frame CLOSE UPS on these small faced action figures using the stock lens on the 100B?

Or do I need to get some bigger action figures?

thanks for any help.

It does have macro, but how close you can get depends on the telephoto setting of the lens. At wide angle you can get to the surface of the lens. But then you're wide angle, so no you won't fill the screen with 1cm images.

You can accomplish that with a macro adapter lens though, such as the Hoya 10x or even the Nikon 6T.

Works great. I just got mine a few days ago. It allows me to fill the ENTIRE frame with someone's eye (hope that give's an idea of what it'll do).
