hello folks,

maybe a dumb Question but is it possibel to use the hvx200 film cam modus in the normal DV modus? Or can I use this only in combination with DVCPro/50 and HD on P2 and Firestore?

Well, the thing is, the primary thing that FILM CAM does for you is enable variable frame rates. And those are only valid in 720p mode, not DV mode. So while you could put the camera into DV mode, and record in FILM CAM mode, it really wouldn't do you that much benefit. You'd get the film-style 180.0d shutter, but again, without variable frame rates it doesn't do much for you.
