Audio Delay in Headphones

Hey gang

I've been having some issues with a slight delay through the headphone jack and I wondered if it was typical for all of you guys. I plug the headphones in and brush or tap lightly on the mic and there's a noticable delay. the same thing happens through the xlr inputs. Nothing that I can't live without, but it would be nice to know if it's a problem that could get worse. The recorded image seems to have perfectly synced audio.

In the AV In/OUT menu, what are you using for the HP MODE setting? You can choose between LIVE and RECORDING -- LIVE should have no delay.

any suggestions of when i should use the "RECORDING" setting?
