Hey,

I have been studing LIT for days and messing with the Scene File to try and get the look the AATON handheld footage was like in the film. DO any of you that have watched the film have any pointers on how i could get this look or close to it?

Thanks:)

A lot if what was done in LIT was created by lighting and the Japanese interiors here in Tokyo are usually brown, brownish with off white walls, everything that makes just about any image seem a little warmer than usual but some how a flatter warmish. That said I noticed the following: Whenever they shot in Bill Murrays hotel room, it was always warm. Scarletts room always a very cold to whiteish. I assume this was deliberate insofar as making believable that charlotte was drawn to this warmer feel. All exteriors are pretty much on the cold scale. The only variance was the club shots, which had very white lighting, but this whole bar was set up just for the movie so everything was controlled. I am not lying when I say that if you go out in Tokyo and shoot on overcast days in winter, you would end up with a similar look with correct white balance.
