I went to Belize to video a music video and i knew i needed a jib. I allready have the Glidecam so why not build a jib. And here is what i came up with for less than $75 (not counting tipod or screen)

Nice, How much does it weight?? looks like it breaks down.
Can you do a side shot of the head? Is that controled by wires?
Does it have a lot of flex?
Great job. BTW

Haha, yea. accualy the overcast acted as a nice "diffuser" for equal lighting, but it did make it hard when it got dark then light then dark, we had to keep adjusting the Iris.

OK, questions
1. Weight i'm going to guess around 15 lb fully constructed with out weights or cam.
2. Yes it breaks down very nicely, into three 3 foot beams, and all the pullys, wires, etc. and fit. into a small zip bag.
3. The side shot will come i'll try to find one.
4. yes its controlled by a wire running to the head and back to a pully with a handel so when you turn the handel the head turns aswell.
5. flex is acctualy not a issue at all the only broblem i'm haveing and its minor is it tends to become un balacnced (left and right) defending on the height. so when you fully up its leaning to the right slightly and when its all the way down it least to teh left slightly.
hope i answered it all
