The worst part about working on location away from home is not having high speed internet. Times have really changed and wifi is everywhere......even Lake Tahoe. So it comes and goes depending on which way the trees are blowing but at least I can get online now and then.
The water this year is awesome and I'm getting some incredible stock footage of raging waters and waterfalls. Since I'm not being paid to shoot a bunch of water, it's just for fun. In the past 6 weeks there hasn't been nearly enough cloudy days when I'v been free to shoot with the DVX but it's the cloudy days here in contrasty lighting country that the DVX loves.
Anyway I just wanted to let you know, in case anyone cares, that I will be able to drop into my favorite place to hang out now and then. If anyone needs anything in particular shot in the the Lake Tahoe area, let me know and I'll try and get it for you.

How long are you in Tahoe? I'll be heading up there this Thursday for a couple days with the family.

I'm here until probably mid Sept. The weather is the best this summer then it usually is, in fact it's unusually warm which has accounted for the rapid snow melt. The lake is totally full. I take my dogs to Kiva beach and right now there's only about 2 feet of sand before the water. Have fun!

You're kidding.....right? I have a motorhome that I live in while in Lake Tahoe so I don't have the luxury of a phone line.....picking up a wifi signal is a dream come true.

I'm starting the project in November or soon after I return home from working in Lake Tahoe. I've got some great help from a film writing college instructor friend. She knows how to pull the interesting information out of people. I also finished my 35mm adapter in April and have it perfected. The only reason I even built it was for the doc but now I'm having some fun with it. Do you have any new clips on your website, I must check it out......I love your work!
