So i "accidently" won a formatt box off ebay, i didn't think it would sell for my max bid of $200 and low and behold it did. Only thing i really didn't like about it was that it wasn't rod mountable. So i made this nifty little bracket in about 30min today out of a flat piece of aluminum, drill, vice, and hack saw. Its a super solid mount, allows me to easily slide the box forward to chance filters (one more little problem w the box but is not now as much of a pain). I also flipped the rod around that the french flat mounts too. One end is painted and slightly larger than the other, i put this end into the side that has the knob to tighten it down, now the flag actually stays where you put it. Walla a 1/2 decent box for $200, i'm content.

Yes, I like it a lot and you answered your own question. I think its time to make one for myself. What rods did you use?
Thanks

Luke
