Hey guys... I've been swept up in still photography for a couple of weeks, but I'll get back into the DVX swing...
I just wanted to let you guys know about a place that's been mentioned around here a lot... it's www.dpreview.com (http://www.dpreview.com) and get into the forums... incredible photography is pretty common over there and they usually will tell you exactly how the process is done.
Another place that's been mentioned a lot is www.worth1000.com (http://www.worth1000.com) and there are awesome tutorials on that site to do the most insane stuff you can imagine!
Finally you should familiarize yourself with www.pbase.com (http://www.pbase.com) so you can see what cam and what lens can yield what kind of image. They have a feature there that's "search by camera" or by lens... and then you get a random assortment of images from professionals and amatures using that gear... I think it's a great way to predict what you can do with a given setup... that's what I used as a referrence to make my buying choices and as best I can tell they were right on the money!
Alright now since I mentioned some sick skills... here is one of my favorite threads over at dpreview... here is a teaser image:

So does that look like a really cool Normal Rockwell or what?
Read the entire thread and learn how to do it yourself here:

There's tons of shots like this and this probably isn't anywhere near the best one... :)
