Just to be clear, the RED ONE will not have auto aperture/exposure. The lenses made for RED ONE will be lenses with manual aperture only. Correct? Manual foucus too. Correct?

I am used to auto everything.

What kind of light metering system will RED ONE have? Will it have a built in light meter or will users have to get a hand held ambient light meter? I guess a professional cinematographer would use a hand held meter, but I am spoiled by auto everything.

Maybe RED ONE is not for me, and is just for pros.

I thought it had auto control if you plug in the settings manually or used ENG lenses. :/

Manual everything... later we may support auto iris w/B4 lenses. It is a pro tool. We will have some helpful tricks included, though.

Jim I'm stocked for Manual everything about damn time for a camera. IMHO the atomatic stuff get in the way more then it helps. Even for a novice shooter. You teach him/her the basics and they will like Manual contorl better. But I was wondering if RED will have some sort of zebra settings for quick set ups?
