Hi folks,
Yes I am new to the forum! Yay, just what you want... another noob, huh? :Drogar-BigGrin(DBG)
Anyway, since May 2005 a small crew and myself have been filming my zombie horror film DEADLANDS: The Rising.

Anyway, Since the film was mostly done on a DVX100 I figured I would pop in and talk about the film and the camera. I bought the DVX100 used when my other camera crapped out after 3 weekends of shooting. Because some of those weekends are very costly I had to move on and shoot the rest of the film on a DVX100, and do what i can to blend the footage together.
Luckily, out of 62 minute running time only 7 minutes are from "The other camera".
Hopefully, i can join in on the contest, although I admit 92% of my film is DVX100 and the other 8% is another cam.

Thanks for the welcome and the Info...
Well, I hope I can at least submit it for people to watch... I figured with the multiple cams, I couldn't compete.
I have an official site for the film already, and international distribution for the film. I just hope to get it out there for everyone to see.
The sequel will be shot on the HVX200. After seeing test footage and checking out some other articles I am definately going to get one. I almost was going to buy a Canon XLH1 but after seeing what the HVX can do, and the perfection that is DVX100 I am hooked. :Drogar-BigGrin(DBG)

Yeah I would love to still submit it. Sorry I have been so busy securing distribution for the film I have been off in another galaxy for the last two months.
