Could these be used for RED One? Im wondering, would it be cheaper to buy something like this or just buy a few doozen SATA Harddrives and RAID them with a computer on set?

Interesting...if their DFR would take RAW and REDCODE, it could possibly be a solution. At first glance on their web site, it mentions that uncompressed video is coded to DPX files upon ingest.
