That's great! Must have been 5 in the morning or 1978 paris was dead. I think I only could pick out a dozen people! That was very cool. He only had to stop once for that woman and poodle dog. I woulda kept going on the curb. Small price for the immortality of film. Thanks for posting

Amazing footage. Evertime a red light would approach, I would think to myself, "He's not gonna run though again is he?" But, he did. Maybe in 1978 in France red light means go? :)

The sound of rht engine and tires made this a really great piece.

Hmm this has been posted before but it's always cool to watch again. There were some disbelievers that said the sound of the engine didn't match up with the car that he was supposedly driving and they just sped it up in post. I don't think that they did and think that the footage is real, but who really knows.

there was some guys who did this in 400hp toyota supras, and im pretty sure they got faster than 140. I remember seeing the videos, but i don't remember where.

Actually it wansnt a Ferrari, it was a 320 SL Merc. And he only reached about 84 MPh. The noise was ADR and if he was topping 5th gear on a ferrari liekit "sounds like" the street woul be going by alot faster.

Still quite a feat though.......

I like when this vid pops up it is really cool to see. All shot with out permits or permistion. They just straped a camera on the F1 car and drove it through the streets of paris. Could you imagine what kind of trouble you would get in if you did that now
