4x p2 8gb and 2x HVX200. Workflow Help plz.

Hi !
Maybe this post is on a forum but i cant find so i writing.

I have 4x p2 8gb and 2x HVX200. PowerBook G4 and 1 outpoot disk 200gb.
I dont know what to do... Buy G-link, more hard drivs or what?? Dont have much money now :( Maybe buy dvds and burn to backup and buy some harddrive to put all materials on? Sorry for English, Poland :)

I use both P2 Genie and P2 Log. They both work great.

I use P2 Genie to copy and erase my cards to a HD. I use P2 log to view my MXF files.
They both work great.

I've had hard drives crash on me in the past so I do a dual backup onto DVD's. It takes some time but I sleep a little better at night.

I use P2 Log to delete the clips off the P2 card that I don't want and then copy and erase the card with P2 Genie.

P2 Log Gold or just silver or bronz will do the job? :) So one material going on hard drive and two more go to dvd yes? but i have 8gb p2 card and 2 cameras...

Actually, I've just been using P2Log for $99. P2 Genie is like $33 or something like that. Both together cheaper than HD Log.

Yeah, it is allot of burning but so is trying to recreate your footage if you lost it.
I guess another alternative but more expensive would be dual HD backups. If one fails, them copy the other to another HD right away to keep a dual back up.

If you have time then I'd burn DVD's if not, I'd go with dual hard drive backups.
