This problem has probably been discussed before but despite my research, I haven't found any satisfying answer.
I have had a Pal HVX-200 for a day as a try out. We've shot 1080 in progressive mode. Then I installed the Final Cut 5.1 to edit my shots. When I import my shots, FCP creates QT files that seam exactly as heavy as the addition of the MXF Video + the 4 MXF Audio tracks...
But then, in FCP, if I want to have a correct visualisation, my settings need to be in 1440*1080 with a weird pixel ratio... which I don't understand since I thought HVX shot 1920*1080 squared pixel... Did the QT files created changed the definition of my image??? What happens exactly here??
Thanx for your help...
