There's been so much speculation about the Guerilla35, blah blah blah. Well, after reading nearly everything ever posted about the Guerilla35, I noticed something no one really goes into much.

About a year ago, most of us were among those who were uncapable of making a 35mm let alone getting a quality image. Fast forward and we now understand them easier (condensor FL, GG Grit, CA, Bokeh, ETC), a year ago I would've paid hundreds for someone to make me even a cheap one now most of us could probably put them together like a second nature.

It's obvious the makers of the Guerilla35 were steps ahead of us as far as understanding optical paths and bokeh but now it seems people are really catching up quick. The adapters now give terrific images (Go35, iFocus, My35, Letus, Brevis, etc) and I think this time next year we'll all have amazing images coming from our HDV & DV camera's.

I think people were overlooking a BIG factor about the Guerilla35. It was never whether they were using a Wax GG (as confirmed) or similar but I think what was amazing is that they were able to make 15 good Wax GG's and people have been struggling to make one! It boggles the mind.......

Hopefully, the first 50 unit's go out in mid July as stated by Cinemek e-mails, but the keyword is yet again HOPE.......

When I see stuff like this, it makes me remember just how good the G35 can be in the right hands.

What sucks is all the R&D those guys did and then have to turn around and scrap everything. I just think to myself how quickly HDV and the like made my DVX and XL2 obsolete (from a technology perspective). And here these guys did all that work and the resolution of a new generation of cams rendered their work nearly useless. I laugh when I see people bash them because I wish them the best and wouldn't put that type of frustration on my worse enemy.

HI guys,

What people don't realize is that when fixing one problem with any adapter (or with anything), another comes about, so it's a mind boggling combination to figure out. I give those guys nothing but respect for what they have done, and believe me there're not just sitting around trying to fix the problems with the G35, they're moving on to bigger and better things. They're probably waiting for the right moment to release something for the HD, as you say technologies moves just as fast as stuff in the medical field (if not faster). I definitely think they had this planned out.

Believe me that didn't go to waste, like I said they're waiting for the right moment.

Everyone has secrets! :)

Thank you Ill Eagle for the nice comment!
