Hi
Has anybody tried Raylight conversion software with Pana HVX200 P2 files? As a Liquid user I am still in trouble - no way to get MFX-files in to Liquid. Would be clad to hear comments!

Just made a test. Raylights RAYMAKER worked great to converse P2 MXF files to Raylight AVI, also sound worked ok. But when again I got in trouble with Liquid!! It doesn't support Raylight avi at all? (So Liquid announces in program, can't import because the codec is not supported). Very odd, because Win Media player can show it, also Win Movie Maker.

Is Avid/Liquid only protecting it's own interest and not giving adequate support to users?

No it probably just does not work with VfW (Video for Windows) compressed AVI's.

You might have better luck using DVFilm Maker whcih can convert MXF files to a variety of AVI and Quicktime formats. I'm not familiar with Liquid, so tell me what type of files/codecs does it use?

I am not very good at all with these codec questions, but this is what importing sequense says: DV (AVI) / DV (DIF) / DVCPRO25 (DIF) / DVCPRO50 (DIF) / DVD (M2V) / I MPEG-2 4C2P@ML / MPEG-2 MP@HL / RGB (AVI).....
