I am attempting to build a DIY M2 and saving the $160 for the achromat - I am looking at the Canon 250d/500d and Nikon 5t/6t achromats - The M2 is being called 10x the Canon and Nikons are using 1.x and 2.x diopter power. Whic of the Canon or Nikon products are comparable to the M2's achromat?

Im not exactly sure what your question is. Are you trying to find a alternative for the M2 achromat? I don't have any experience with it, but that seems to be a pretty good price if you are allowed to buy it with the DIY guide.
My search has turned up zero for an achromat that is 10X (58mm). The closest thing that I have found is this:

I emailed the company about a price and where to buy, but got no response.
Century Optics makes a 58mm 7X achromat. Hope that helps some.

You can also add a C O 7X and a 4X and get a 11x achromat. I have stacked CO achromats ontop of eachother and they do not distort like closeups do. Of course this is very expensive.

What camera are you using? What size achromat? I wouldn't bother with the Canon or Nikon as they are almost certainly too weak for a DVX.
