Admittedly Retarded Question

I have been shooting with the HVX for a few weeks now, mostly test stuff, and I have a question that I'm sure is relatively retarded. When I select in the RECORDING MODE section 1080i/24pA, am I shooting in "DVCPROHD"? My assumption is YES, but below this selection in the RECORDING MODE MENU, is the designation "DVCPRO50" which is blued out and cannot be adjusted..... I would think that if you're shooting DVCPROHD, it should at least SAY SO, rather than be "inferrable" from the 1080i/24pA designation....

anything blue does not apply to the mode you are shooting in.
