Thanks! Location scouting will begin tomorrow. Most of the film takes place at the house, so not much work to do. Casting will continue through this week and next, as well as finishing the script. Does anybody have any death ideas that they have always wanted to see done in a film, but never have? Let me know!

Yeah, I think we found our house, we just need to secure it. I went to the location today and snapped a few shots. This house will be used for all the exterior shots.

It's been a while since my last post...lots going on...

FIRST OFF- The house location is being changed. I had planned on shooting the exteriors before my move to Orlando in August. As it turns out, I wont, so location will have to be changed, but now I will hopefully have the capability to shoot all the interiors in a soundstage...Though, that means I have to find a new location.

SECONDLY- I am re-writing some of the script, so that has been crazy. It's nothing big, just to acommodate the location changes.

THIRD- As I think more about this film, I keep saying to myself..."how can I make this a great viewing experience for everyone? How can I get the gore addicts to say, that was an awesome decapitation! And at the same time get the queezy viewers to say Oh my gosh!" So stick with the project as it progresses, and changes.

I'm really glad I'm shooting this on the DVX..I've always wanted to do a sort of dark, scary film, and really get to try out some different parts of making a film, especially in the lighting. Anyways, more coming soon!

BIG UPDATE: The move to Florida from Colorado is interferring MASSIVELY with the project. Due to this, ive lost the location and all actors...time to revamp my movie...I'll let you all know!

I am so bummed. I was looking forward to a really creepy location shoot and it looked like you had it nailed with the perfect house. Maybe you can find something out in a swamp that is even better once you get down to Fla.
